LIGHTNING ARRESTOR KITS
Broadband Propagation's Lightning Arrestor Kits offer accessories to accompany your 'coaxial surge arrestor' range. They enable you to install a complete static discharge/lightning protection system for yor antenna.
KIT COMPRISES OF
Earthing Kit: (BPEK)




Earth Lead: (ELS3)
2 part copper earth stake (total length is 1.4m)
Brass earth stake joiner
Stainless steel dolly
Clamp (with fasteners)

Length of 3m nickel plated coper braid
Feeder Cable: one of the following specific to RF power range required
SA230 FC:
SA600 FC:
SA600 NFC:
 5m of RG58 coaxial cable with BNC connectors
5m of RG213 coaxial cable with UHF connectors
5m of RG213 coaxial cable with 'N' type connectors
Earth leads and feeder cables can be supplied at longer lengths if required. Please specify when ordering.

Coaxial Surge Arrestor: one of the following specific to RF power range required

90v dc clamping suitable for use in the 20 - 125w RF power range. Fitted with BNC connectors.
230/350w dc clamping suitable for use ine 300 - 500w RF power range. Fitted with UHF connectors.
600v dc clamping suitable for use in teh 1000w RF power tange. Fitted with 'N' type connectors.

All components of our lightning arrestor kits can be sold separately if required.

EARTHING OPTIONS
The body of the lightning arrestor must be adequately earthed to perform its job. This can be achieved by bolting the aluminium tage of the arrestor directly to a well earthed object such as an earth stake, or it can be earthed indirectly through an earthing cable.
