| BPV-2-160 Heavy Duty
Two Section Glass Fibre Whip A ruggedly constructed tuned whip built from a solid glass fibre core covered with a heavy-duty braided copper conductor and an insulating sheath. Solid construction offers greatly increased impact survival over hollow glass fibre whips and the insulating sheath enables it to be used in environments where there is risk of contact with high voltage sources such as fallen power lines. The fully enclosing braided conductor enables a very efficient transfer of radiated power. This version consists of two detachable sections joined by a heavy-duty threaded stud enabling the antenna to be conveniently transported or stored. |
